Our purpose at Dukúr Coffee is to produce specialty coffee while sharing our platform and profits to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. Dukúr Community Brew is our way of giving back! We have linked up with the Turtle Rescue Cahuita, a non-profit organization located on the Southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Dukúr is committed to contributing a percentage of the profits to their essential work.

Turtle Rescue Cahuita is a non-profit association founded in 2015 and located in Playa Grande de Cahuita. They offer their service to protect and conserve sea turtles, care for the marine-coastal ecosystem surrounding them, provide environmental education, and provide scientific research.

We have a nursery that houses rescued eggs, mainly from egg boxes. Monitored and released the little turtles achieving a high hatching rate.

 

Behind each cup of coffee is a chain of hard work and effort of so many families dedicated to cultivating and harvesting coffee. We want the customer to get more than a bag of coffee but to be part of that commitment that we have as a brand to help others.
